I want to get my boyfriend a good gift that he’d love. He loves video and computer games, and basketball, and of course fooooood. I could get him video games, basketball accessories, but I’d wanna get him something different and cool.
Any gift ideas that you think my guy would love? My budget’s about $50.
Thanks!
Get him this for his xbox 360 , he’ll love it http://www.giftweblog.com/2006/11/17/gift-for-the-gamer-in-your-life-xbox-360-wireless-racing-wheel/

My husband has five people that work for him. We always have a party for them and their families and he gives them all a gift card for Christmas each year. One of the employees has an interesting hobby and I found a $20 item that she would really appreciate that is associated with that hobby. I want to give it to her and the gift card but I am afraid that the other four employees will think that I, or my DH, rather is playing favorites. What should I do? I could send it to her home but I would really like to see her open it. Any ideas?
Thank you!
Don’t give it as a Christmas gift just give it to her. Tell her that you saw it and just had to get it for her. That was it is not related to the Christmas thing, and do not use Christmas wrapping paper

I’m hosting a corporate meeting on Monday, so this weekend I need to buy 200 or so items of a product that communicates one of our current corporate themes: pride, swagger or reinvention. Any ideas? I know that Old Spice makes a product called "Swagger," but it’s been hard to find in large quantities. I’d get Power / Engery Bars, but I’ve already done that idea. These items are supposed to be given away to employees as a fun "gag" gift to help them get motivated as we head into a new chapter in our business. Any and all suggestions are appreciated.
Well, pride could be a personal mirror, swagger a can of smoked oysters (they are an aphrodisiac) and reinvention could be a energy efficient fluorescent light bulb to replace the one in their office.

I need cute, cheap, and homemade vday ideas! for this one girl i really like..
help me its in 2 days!
If you make her jewlery she’ll really appreciate it even if she’s not crazy about it. Find a local bead store and tell them about the girl (age and some interests, favorite color) and they’ll get you set up with everything you need to make a matching bracelet and earrings.

I work for Abercrombie and Fitch. I get 30% off buying mainly anything in the store. I know you can’t sell the clothes you buy with employee pricing. They make it clear with the recipt and the signature pad display. But about 2 weeks ago I bought a gift card and I just realized that you don’t get that warning.
So is it ok to buy a $100 gift card pay $70 and sell it for $100 or a bit less?
Also can you buy a gift card and use that gift card to pay for you clothes that you bought with the 30% off? its like double whamy.
ps. I think I should to Yale or some ivy.
can I get fired for asking this?
ur pretty stupid dont say this in public ;; but its a good idea

Has anyone tried to keep a green Christmas by buying all presents from local businesses? As in locally produced – works of art, arts and crafts, music, gift baskets, wine, etc. Thought it would benefit the local artisans and keep the consumerism down this year. Would be hard with small children, but I was wondering if anyone had tried this, if for no other reason than to screw with the corporate commercialism or save on transportation of massive goods.
Rock on PD! I’m actually doing that this Christmas for the first time. I’m usually an internet shopper, looking for the best deal. But, I decided, who really cares if you save $2 on that ‘whatchamacallit’? I mean, I’d rather support our local businesses and my community and the people who are my neighbors. We are lucky to have a local artisans shop (my town is only 15,000 people) and the downtown is just starting to come back with quaint locally owned shops…I’m so glad! We also have a small book store which stocks kids’ books written by a local author, so that helps with presents for the kids. Anyway, I think it’s a great idea and it’s actually making my shopping a lot less stressful and more fun!
