Christmas can regularly be a difficult period for parents, who are often trying to balance bills and personal finances with buying gifts for the family. To hopefully help out with getting those gifts for the kids, here’s an early warning of what could end up being the hottest toys of 2010.

Remote controlled cars, tanks and helicopters are also set to be hugely popular this year, with RC helicopters in particular seeing a surge in popularity.
As for young girls, I would look at popular children’s shows such as Peppa Pig, who do a good job making toys that fit the popular show. Likely to reach a similar level of popularity are brands such as Bratz (hugely popular in 2009), Dora the Explorer and the seemingly ever popular Hannah Montana.
One example of toys that seem to keep their level of popularity around the Christmas period would be Sylvanian Families, which will probably continue to be popular this year. If you have a child that is slightly older, the Kidizoom Camera or GOGO Hamster both look like being extremely popular, and either would make a great Christmas gift for her.

Childhood is such a great and intense memory for every human being, although parents usually tend to forget how they were spending their time while they were childs. The way I was brought up as a kid 20-30 years ago seems so far away that sometimes I find it hard encouraging my kids do what I used to do.
What used to be town, it has turned into a monstrous noisy and busy city. The trees around my parents place where offering the best climbing experience which was a dangerous thus very exciting activity. Today, I can hardly find some trees in the city park as most of them had to be cut down so more buildings could be built. The streets were not as busy so we could play football, hide and seek or just chasing each other on the street on a daily basis whereas today we need to wait for a few minutes before crossing the same street, because of the traffic.
Adrenaline was at very high levels each time we were breaking into one of those abandoned mansions curious about what we would come across. Those mansions are long gone now, and the few ones left have been turned into museums. Wandering all around the town was also something we used to do a lot when we were kids but today it’s not safe for our kids to do the same.
Nevertheless, the importance of playing outdoors has been the same and I think parents should strongly encourage their kids to do so. Especially during the summer, there are so many chances of enjoying the good weather and stay away from the game consoles. The ideal place is a garden or a terrace full of outdoor toys. Just think of what they can do so they won’t get bored while you enjoy that cold pint of beer served straight from the beer chiller,listening carefully to the comments made by the professional sport-casters as their voice was coming out of those portable speakers.

I was looking for a birthday gift for my little daughter before she turned four years old. I wanted to give her something special and unique that requires her to physically move. It took for several minutes before I finally spotted the perfect and affordable gift for my daughter.

Playmobile has been the favorite toy brand for me since I found its toy sets in a box. I certainly love Playmobil toys because I’ve already proven how reliable and good the products are.
In a month, I’ve already given my son three sets of Playmobil. I collected some of Playmobil circus toy sets. There were the Circus Ring, Circus Tightrope Artists and the Circus Baby Elephants.
My four-year old son likes to play with people and animals. When I found the Playmobil toy circus sets, I thought these toys were the ones he would love to have.
I bought the Playmobil Circus Ring first. This circus set has a large ring, an adjustable big top, a ringmaster, 2 ticket counters, a salesman, a mother, 2 children, a fencing, 2 trapeze artists and a trapeze. When we had this set, my son and I built a circus ring. Then, we started playing with the seven circus figures. He played as the trapeze artist, ringmaster and salesman, while I was the visitor/audience. We both had fun playing with the circus set. He couldn’t stop playing it.
After a week, I decided to buy the Circus Tightrope Artists set. When my son have loved the first Playmobil circus box that I ordered, I was certain he would also love this next one.
I surprised my son one day while he’s playing his circus ring set. I pretended as if I was a businessman who visited his ring. He played along. Then, I told him that I will donate more amenities for his circus. He still didn’t have any idea that I was seriously talking until I handed him the box of the Playmobil Circus Tightrope Artists.
He suddenly exclaimed with excitement. Then, he immediately opened the box and saw 4 figures, a tightrope, a unicycle, a balance bar, a rollable balance drun and a see-saw platform. He had more enjoyment playing it because the circus got bigger.
I felt a deep happiness when my son thanked me with a warm embrace. It’s nice to see him enjoyably playing. He would invite his cousins and friends to play with him. If he sees an adult, he would let them play too and act as one of the visitors.
There’s something missing, I thought. Circus should have animals. That motivated me to buy the Circus Baby Elephants. He would be so thrilled and enthusiastic to play with the two baby elephants.
I was right. His eyes became larger and his excitement got increased He was amazed to see another set of circus. Aside from the baby elephants, there were children wearing in entertaining costumes. There are other accessories included in the box, too.
All of those three sets of circus had become a goal of my son. I was very proud when he told me someday he would make a place where every child can play and do fun things. I’ve never imagined him to think of such a dream like that at his very young age. This dream might come true someday but what’s important for me is to see him enjoying his life while growing up. I guess the Playmobil circus toy sets were a big factor that made him think that way.
